Trainspotting might not be the most Parisian of pastimes, but Croissant’s committed. He’s even planning a London café (and rail) tour – just as soon as he plucks up the courage to invite Brigitte…

Bartholomew Bear has discovered snowboarding. Sort of. He’s mostly discovered the outfits. Now fully insulated in his fluff-trimmed snowsuit (complete with pretend zip and imaginary lift pass), he’s taken to the slopes in signature style: slow, steady, and with regular dance breaks. He talks a big game – but his snowboard is mostly for posing, and his goggles have never seen a flake. Still, he looks the part. And for Bartholomew, that’s half the fun. (The other half is fondue.)

Bashful Bunny ‘Snow Suit’ has a winter obsession – and it’s not hot chocolate (though she won’t say no). It’s snowmen. Smudge Pig is a firm believer in the gentle art of doing very little. Effort, she says, is overrated. A leisurely wander round the garden, a brief nod to the flowerbeds, perhaps a polite word to a daisy... That’s quite enough for one day!
She and Smudge Lamb are often found “supervising” the gardening, which mostly involves reclining nearby and offering encouraging remarks.
Happiest when her calendar’s clear, Smudge Pig thinks that life doesn’t need bells and whistles – not when there’s sunshine to stretch in and friends to chat to.
